About

This semester I've had the opportunity to read countless conference talks on numerous subjects. I have felt the Spirit come into my life as I have read the words of the prophets and apostles. We will be guided and blessed as we apply these principles and doctrines into our lives. I know we have a living prophet on the earth today. I know that he guides our church and that he is the Lord's mouthpiece. He won't lead us astray if we follow his counsel. The Lord will never leave us alone, one way He assures us of this is through his trusted prophet, President Thomas S. Monson. He was called of God and will lead us in the way the Savior would if he was on the earth today.
We can all find peace in the Gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I hope we will all strive to better understand the will of our Heavenly Father and become the children that He would have us be. As we listen and follow the words of the prophet and apostles we will be led and guided by the Spirit.

For my practicum project this semester I have collected various quotes from our inspired leaders on several topics. I hope they can bring peace to your souls as they have for me this semester.

I chose the title Steps to Discipleship: Teachings from the Prophets and Apostles because I know that as we listen to and heed the prophets we will be on the steps toward discipleship. These inspired words can be our guide in dark, unfamiliar times.
